Hey...
not much to say today, but i still wanted to check in with all my blog peoples.
the kids are with their daddy tonight and i got the night to myself...
usually i'd take the opportunity to go out or something, but not tonite.
i just finished a few hours of scrapbooking.i'm currently doing a scrapbook for each child and a family scrapbook. tonite i was able to finish one page for each one of the kids books!! i feel like i accomplished something. yippie!
ok...i kinda can't wait to get married again!! my wedding was pretty the first time, but boy am i gon' outdo myself the next time around...i think mainly because when it happens again it will be such a celebration! i mean after all the hardship and waiting for that person...
whew! i might just skip down the isle. lol
speaking of love and relationships and the like....here comes Valentines Day. i'd be lying if i didn't say that i have all kinds of anxiety concerning the holiday. V-day happens to be the birthday of the guy i'm seeing. so i'm wondering...does he see it as V-day or his birthday or both?? like will he think it's all about him and forget me? i can't very well tell him to remember it's V-day too. does that sound petty?? typically i'd spend very little money on this holiday...now i have a conundrum, what's a girl to do? what tha heck do you get a man for birthday/valentine's day n e way? o boy.

my sisters birthday is the 24th.
my moms is the 30th.
and is the same guy you were posting about earlier?
that sux right??? the birthday/holiday thingy???
and yes it's the guy from before...
we don't see each other too often.
but we plan to spend this holi-birth-day together. lol
i'll let u know how it goes
*going to bank online n count my pennies*
hopefully i can get him sumthin nice.
plus u didn't make no suggestions...what should i get him?? ugh
It is always hard to buy when you dont know somebody too well.
Gift certificate gives away how much money you are willing to spend....
hmmmm....
I dont know the guy.
Here are some ideas....
could you go to a party store and get a bunch of stuff around a theme. My family did that with a beach theme one year and it was really fun. Just dont make it really girly.
Guys always like food.
I like books, but not sure if your guy is a reader or not.
The nice thing about a book is that it is fairly cheap and you could get one for a birthday and one for valentines.
Or you could each go for massages on his birthday and you could pay for his as his BD/Valentines day present. Just as long as it is not KJOTO MAMAS ORIENTAL MASSAGE PARLOR. That may lead to you spending more money that you thought and being unhappy about it.
Oh I got something that would be fun! This is what I have always wanted to do. You could go to one of those make your own teddy bear places. That is a fun date, and he has something semi-romantic but not too expensive to remember you by.
friar...u are the best!!!
look @ all those suggestions.
i really like the teddy bear one...but i don't think i like him enough for that yet.
the food thing sounds like a plan...I think I'll cook 4 him...
and as for books, i like the idea, i don't know if he reads alot...he works sooo much.
i like the theme thingy, but I can't avoid girly...i would do what i would want him to do 4 me...like candles and roses and red everywhere and cook dinner.
i'm thinking salmon steak, asparagus and tortelini...i dunno.
but can i tell u how much i love ur advice.
maybe i'll just get a nice card and take him to dinner...it's not very creative, but it's easy.
*still stuck* lol
btw...KJOTO MAMAS ORIENTAL MASSAGE PARLOR???
speaking from experience eh?
i heard some scandolous things about the those "oriental" massage parlors.....hmmmm
don't u worry,i wouldn't pay another woman to do for my man what i'd have no problem doing myself...lol
but that kinda thing is far off right now...we need to do something a little less intimate..lol
Wow I thought I was bad being born 3 days before Christmas. Let me know how it plays out with the new guy.
To hell with a nigga born in Feb...Its all about Aug niccas....You should spend time with that BD of yours...Probably will enjoy urself the most....
@princessdom...i will definitely keep u posted
@anon...yeah, maybe that's what i'll do...spend the holiday with my BD...lol
u r such a trip. but i still got luv 4 u. :)
Valentine's Day? What's that? LOL
One phrase.....
Empty balls/full stomach....period!
That's what my gramma says! ROFL
What happened to the play? I came back to read the rest and it was gone :-(
@ladynay, if that saying means what I think...that's very funny and a good rule of thumb..lol
and as for the play, I have a long revised version i'ma post...
I can’t wait to get married the first time. It seems like it will never happen!
Valentines Day always bring anxiety into my world, hoping for that romantic gesture that usually never comes. It sux!
@nsearch...yeah girl i know what u mean. hold on..i believe you'll get the desires of ur heart. :)
but as for waiting with baited breath for that whirlwind romantic experience can be stressful...'specially since every year i've hoped for it, i've never recieved it.
still i'm hoping
thats a cute icon pic on dashboard babes
you look like a young penny... lol
PEACE
I really have never had the need to do anything for anybody for Valentine's Day. This year is alittle different... However, my bank account is low, so I'm not going to be able to do what I would like to do.
I know that Valentine's day is a day your supposed to show the one's you love just how much you love them, but I personally think that everyday should be about showing others just how much you care and love them whether it be vocally or with gifts.
God Bless and have a blessed week,
CASEY
I give personalized gifts .I think the it depends on the person you're with. Sorry I was not much help on this one. Good luck though.
@brooklyn babe..aw thanx, glad to see u in that place!!
@casey...the best gifts don't cost much. and i agree everyday SHOULD be a chance to express love..but the truth is usually we get so busy being busy that we forget to love up on our most precious. Valentine's Day is a reminder...we need that sometimes.
@luvinme...i hear u, but i give up. too soon for such stress. lol
@tam..u so silly girl...but i know what you mean!!
@latinchik...lol
thanx, it's not a big deal babygirl..but thanx
